SoCal Jets Inc
SoCal Jets employs some of the best corporate aircraft technicians with the “can do” attitudes that make a company successful. With an average of 16 years of technical experience, all of our technicians hold a FAA, A&P certificate, with three A&P’s that maintain their Inspection Authorization. You may wonder why that’s important. It means that each employee is dedicated to maintaining aircraft to the highest standard with utmost commitment to the safety of our customers. SoCal Jets services a wide variety of aircraft including Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Learjet, Citation, Westwind, King Air, and Beechjet.
SoCal Jets also services many aircraft in Mexico. We are very proud to be one of only a handful of U.S. companies to have received certification from the Mexican DGAC. Mexico has been a large part of our business and we are grateful to have such a wonderful relationship with all of our customers.
Our History
After selling RoigWest Incorporated in 2008, Robert and Ann Roig, who founded RoigWest in 1984, decided to buy back their company in June 2009. Upon assembling a group of like-minded individuals who all had the same desire to build something new and exciting, they decided to rename it SoCal Jets Inc.
Robert Roig, President of SoCal Jets, has been a fixture at Van Nuys airport since 1985 as the founder and President of RoigWest. The company earned a reputation for efficient and high-quality service on Hawker, Challenger, Learjet, and Falcon. For 15 years RoigWest shared a hangar with IFR Avionics at Peterson Aviation (now called Maguire Aviation). SoCal Jets calls that same hangar home, but inhabits the entire 18,000 square foot facility.
Van Nuys Airport
Socal Jets is located at the Van Nuys airport, considered the busiest general aviation airport in the United States. SoCal (short for Southern California) offers some of the most beautiful beaches, mountains, and deserts. Our facility is conveniently situated near fantastic shopping venues, popular tourism attractions, and major business centers. We will be more than happy to assist planning with any aspect of your trip to Los Angeles, including hotel reservations, restaurant recommendations, and tourism suggestions.
