SoCal Jets Levels-Up Customer Service with Gogo AVANCE Installation Slot Program

VAN NUYS, Calif. – May 21, 2024 – SoCal Jets, Inc., a full-service aircraft maintenance, avionics, and repair facility, today announces a new Gogo AVANCE slot program to level-up its customer service offerings as Gogo Business Aviation (NASDAQ: GOGO) readies for its network migration.

Customers operating a Gogo legacy air-to-ground (ATG) system (ATG 1000, 2000, 4000, 5000) must upgrade by Dec. 31, 2025, or risk losing their Gogo inflight connectivity once Gogo completes its network migration to newer LTE technology, anticipated in early 2026.

To avoid loss of service, SoCal Jets customers looking to upgrade their legacy Gogo system to AVANCE, or install it for the first time, can reserve a dedicated slot to ensure timely and expert installation by highly skilled aircraft technicians.

As a Gogo-authorized dealer since 2012, SoCal Jets’ expert team is well versed in Gogo connectivity systems. Its new Gogo AVANCE Installation Slot Program underscores its commitment to superior customer service and industry-leading standards, making it the preferred choice for aircraft owners and operators seeking exceptional avionics services. Celebrating its 40th year of excellence in aircraft maintenance, avionics, and repair, SoCal Jets combines decades of industry experience with a dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction.

“Our mission is to repeatedly provide better experiences to our customers with the highest standards, said Robert Roig, President of SoCal Jets. “With a dedicated slot program for Gogo AVANCE installations our customers can trust us with a seamless installation, on budget, and well ahead of any service cutoffs.”

Conveniently located at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, considered one of the busiest general aviation airports in the world, SoCal Jets services primarily Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Learjet and Citation aircraft, providing premier aircraft services since 1984, including avionics repair, upgrade and installations, aircraft maintenance, and more.

"With a team of experts that have deep roots in aviation, our shared customers are in great hands with SoCal Jets,” said Dave Salvador, Vice President of Aftermarket Sales for Gogo. “For customers operating a legacy Gogo system, SoCal’s dedicated AVANCE slot program is a great choice for top-notch and prompt service.”
